Our team works across private estates, farms, commercial woodlands, public land and large-scale woodland creation projects.
Some clients come to us for a specific piece of advice or a one-off project. Others use us as their long-term forest manager, looking after everything from management planning and grants to harvesting, tree risk and new woodland creation.

How we work
Forestry can become complicated quite quickly. Grants, regulations, contractors, timber markets, environmental constraints and long-term management all have to fit together.
Our job is to make that manageable.
We start by understanding the land, the woodland and what the owner is trying to achieve. From there we can advise on the options, agree a sensible way forward and, where required, manage the work through to completion.
We are independent, so our advice is based on what we think is right for the client and the woodland.
And because we are involved in delivering forestry work as well as planning it, our recommendations are grounded in what can realistically be achieved on the ground.

We explain the options and give a view. Clients should understand what we are recommending and why.

We stay ahead of work rather than waiting to be chased. Good forest management needs forward planning.

We work for our clients. Contractors and timber buyers are procured and managed to achieve the right outcome for the job.
